This hand embroidered Otomi textile is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each piece is entirely handmade using 100% cotton fabric and thread.
The design is first drawn directly onto the fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch using the traditional Otomí technique, creating depth, texture, and character.
Original otomi artwork created by artisans from Hidalgo, using an ancestral embroidering technique.
The piece is later framed and manually finished by Casa Lanna Ha, transforming the artwork into a contemporary wall object designed for intentional interiors.
This is not printed or machine-made — it is a slow, intentional process that takes several days to complete, resulting in a truly unique piece.
