DESCRIPTION
Not every embroidered textile carries the same presence.
Jacinta is a one-of-a-kind Otomí wall art piece handmade in Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo using traditional embroidery techniques passed through generations.
Each motif is first drawn directly onto cotton fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch by hand, creating texture, rhythm and character impossible to reproduce by machine.
A slower process shaped through weeks of detailed craftsmanship.
