Description
A textile that carries time, tradition, and intention.
This one-of-a-kind Otomi embroidery was handmade in Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, Mexico. The peackock and flowers around it was first drawn directly onto the cotton canvas and later embroidered by hand using the traditional “pata de gallo” stitch.
The process took approximately 7 weeks to complete.
Its Blue tones and ivory palette gives this piece a quiet presence that works beautifully in collected interiors that value texture, soul, and artisan work without falling into rustic decoration. The peacock is considered good luck in these culture.
