This hand embroidered Otomi textile linen is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.

This hand-embroidered textile is a unique creation made by artisans in Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, Mexico Each design is first drawn by hand onto the fabric and then carefully embroidered using traditional techniques—a process that took over 5 weeks to complete.
Made from 100% cotton, every detail reflects the patience and skill behind this ancestral craft. The intricate figures and composition give the piece a strong visual presence, making it not only decorative, but deeply expressive.
Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors.
Each textile is later altered with a fabric backing for wall hanging, transforming the piece from a traditional object into a contemporary presence within the home.

Two ways to receive it: rolled in a tube (you frame it), or rolled ready to be mounted with an stretched fabric on the back and in the front with a frame made out of fabric. (No glass, no wood).
Options:
• Textile Size: 32” x 72” APPROX. You´ll recive only the embroidery folded on a box.
• Fabric Bordered Size: the final size will depend on the size of the border you choose to add on. You´ll recieve the embroidery with a fabric border ready to hang and rolled up on a protective tube.
**Variations in sizes are expected 1"- 2" due to artisanal process**
• Finishes: Choose from Fabric Border (NO GLASS, NO WOOD) or Textile Only. Request information about colors and finishes for the fabric border. In any case we DON´T add glass because of the transportation.
