A hand-embroidered Otomi tote bag, handcrafted by women artisans in Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, Mexico.
Each piece is made entirely by hand using 100% cotton canvas and cotton embroidery threads, preserving a textile tradition passed down through generations.
This exclusive Casa Lanna Ha design is first drawn directly onto the fabric by hand and then embroidered using the traditional “pata de gallo” stitch. Each tote takes approximately three days to complete, from the first lines drawn onto the canvas to the final stitch.
But the value of this piece goes beyond the embroidery.
Every tote purchased contributes to the continuity and wellbeing of the women artisan community behind these textiles. By choosing a handmade piece, you are helping sustain their work, their skills and the possibility of passing this knowledge on to the next generation.

CARE
Machine wash on a delicate/gentle cycle using cold water only.
Use a mild detergent suitable for delicate textiles and embroidery. Do not use dryer heat, as it may damage the embroidery threads and handles. We recommend using a color catcher to help reduce the risk of color transfer or staining.
