This authentic hand embroidered Otomi textile linen is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.

A contemporary textile handcrafted by artisans from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where Otomi embroidery has been preserved through generations. Entirely hand-drawn and embroidered using the traditional “pata de gallo” stitch, this large-scale composition required approximately 4 months of artisan work.

The black and ivory embroidery creates a bold yet timeless visual language, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary interiors.

Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors.

Each textile is later altered with a fabric backing for wall hanging, transforming the piece from a traditional object into a contemporary presence within the home.
