This hand embroidered Otomí pillow cover is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.  These are peculiar pieces as they´re only flowers in a multicolor design.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each piece is entirely handmade using 100% cotton fabric and thread.

The design is first drawn directly onto the fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch using the traditional Otomí technique, creating depth, texture, and character.

This is not printed or machine-made — it is a slow, intentional process that results in a truly unique piece.
