The careful hands of the mountain of Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, capture the vegetation and the animals in pieces of great beauty with their peculiar perception, always magical, evoking a tradition that never ceases. They can be arranged to assemble a long cushion, or on a table, bed or on long wooden furniture, or even be mounted on a table that allows their perennial admiration.
The pieces are sold individually and their size can vary, due to the manual process and the cotton fabric naturally expands when embroidered.
With a use of color in a contrasting tone, or in its multicolored expression, they will impregnate any outfit with a unique, unrepeatable visual impact.
This embroidery represents tradition and flora and fauna, which is weird to find in this region. Pieces may variate in their colors but has the same patterns, as it is a complete manual proces of embroidery.
Any kind of taxes or duties which may apply during the transit of the courier to the final customers, must be covered by the client directly and won't be refunded by LANNA-HA.
CARE RECOMMENDATIONS:
ALL the garments and embroideries that you can see at the store are machine washable at home. The only thing you should care about is the soap (mainly reason why we don´t recommend sending them to the dry cleaner: the chemicals they use). The chemicals is what ruins the threads. So you have to look for a liquid soap for your machine washer that doesn’t have much chemics. We found out that the brand “Arm & Hammer” has few chemics if you can find it there. I use one in Mexico called Zote that has 2 ingredients so that’s very helpful. Now if an accident happens we treat the stain as locally as possible and then we recommend to wash it normally with machine washer.
With machine washer you just have to use the quick or gentle cycle and you’ll be more than fine. One important thing is that NEVER NEVER NEVER use dryer. Heat damages threads and that’s the mainly reason for not using the dryer.
Machine washer nets also help. Machine washers with a new technology treats garment very good, so if yours is not that one we recommend the nets. For black, blue or red color threads we also recommend dye trapping sheets which you can throw them inside the washing machine and just forget about any problem with colors. You even can find there´s a lot of brands.
