This authentic hand embroidered Otomi textile linen is created using a traditional technique from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where each motif holds meaning beyond decoration.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each piece is entirely handmade using 100% cotton fabric and thread. 

The design is first drawn directly onto the fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch using the traditional Otomí technique, creating depth, texture, and character.

Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors. 

Each piece is later finished with a fabric backing for wall display, allowing the textile to move beyond the table and into the space as contemporary textile art.

This is not printed or machine-made — it is a slow, intentional process that takes several weeks to complete, resulting in a truly unique piece.

Designed to define a surface, this XL runner can be used on dining tables, consoles, or at the foot of a bed.

Its scale and proportions allow it to anchor a space while adding structure and continuity across different elements.

1. Is this piece really hand embroidered?
Yes. Every detail is hand embroidered by skilled artisans using the traditional Otomi technique. No machines involved at the embroidery process.

2. Is each piece unique?
Yes. Because it is 100% handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike.
Slight variations in stitches and colors are part of its beauty and authenticity.

3. What materials are used?
Cotton fabric with hand embroidery in cotton threads.

4. How do I hang it?
You can frame it, stretch it on a canvas, or hang it using a textile rod or decorative dowel. See TEXTILE MOUNTED option.
(Hanging hardware not included).

5. Will the colors fade?
Keep your piece out of direct sunlight to preserve the vibrant colors for many years.

6. How do I care for it?
We recommend machine wash only in Gentle Cycle and natural soap and use a color catching towel or dry cleaning or spot cleaning gently with a damp cloth.

7. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide with tracking. Shipping costs and delivery times
vary by destination.

8. Is it ready to gift?
Yes. Each piece is carefully packaged with protective materials
and ready to be gifted.

9. Can I request a custom piece?
At the moment, this is one of a-kind piece. Custom orders can take 3 months, so you can be sure you are getting something truly unique.

Every order is presented in a personalized cotton gift bag, delicately scented and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity celebrating the story of your handcrafted textile. Please tell us on a note at your check out the name you would like personalized on the tote bag. It may be your name or the recipient's name if this is a gift. If left blanc, we'll prepare your order with our standard Casa Lanna Ha presentation.
