A contemporary textile handcrafted by artisans from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, where Otomi embroidery has been preserved through generations. Entirely hand-drawn and embroidered using the traditional “pata de gallo” stitch, this large-scale composition required approximately 4 months of artisan work.
Thread color shown corresponds to #340 on the palette chart.
Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors.
Each piece is later finished with a fabric frame for bed display, allowing the textile to move beyond the table and into the space as contemporary textile art.
