Authentic Hand embroidered Otomi mini ottoman. One of a kind piece.
Handcrafted by Otomi artisans from Tenango de Doria, Hidalgo, Mexico, this contemporary textile piece is entirely embroidered by hand using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Each design is first hand-drawn directly onto the fabric and later embroidered using the traditional “pata de gallo” stitch. The detailed composition and delicate embroidery work required approximately 5 weeks to complete, making this a truly unique artisan piece.
Designed as both functional seating and sculptural textile art, this mini ottoman brings warmth, texture and identity into contemporary interiors. It can also be styled as a decorative accent on a bed, hallway or creative space.
Created in collaboration with artisans from Hidalgo and curated by Casa Lanna Ha as a contemporary textile for intentional interiors.
Each stool is later finished with handmade pompoms or contrasting piping, adding movement, texture, and a contemporary textile presence within the space.
