This piece is part of the Casa Lanna Ha Signature Collection: large-format textile art built to anchor a room. Over a headboard, above a long console, or on a hallway wall where the scale can breathe.
ORIGIN AND TECHNIQUE
Hand-embroidered in Tenango de Doria, in the Hidalgo highlands of Mexico. Traditional Otomí embroidery: the design is drawn onto the cotton fabric and then embroidered stitch by stitch. No machine, no printing. The technique has been passed down through generations of Otomí artisans in this region.
Each piece is finished at our workshop with a linen fabric border and a rod pocket sewn into the back, allowing installation like a curtain. No stretcher, no frame, no glass. The textile stays as textile.
HOW TO USE
Designed to anchor a space:
- Large-scale wall hanging over a bed, sofa, or console
- Bed covering or throw over a king mattress
- Statement piece in a hallway or entry
Installation: rod pocket, curtain-style. Rod not included.
